Buddy has spent his entire adult life serving his country and community, both as a U S Army Military Police and as a Shelby County TN, Deputy Sheriff. He is an FBI/NRA trained Firearms Instructor, Advanced Firearms Instructor, Active Shooter Instructor, Tactical Handgun/Rifle Instructor, Simunitions Instructor, and Patrol Rifle Instructor. Buddy was a Crisis (hostage) Negotiator for approximately ten years and served as a firearms Instructor for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. He was trained in Small detail Dignitary Protection by the Secret Service and Active Vehicle Containment by the DEA, among other specialties. He has taught Law Enforcement and Military, civilians and Security Guards, as well as Corporate clients. He is a believer in the 2nd Amendment; however, he also believes that with that right, comes a huge responsibility. That responsibility is for the person exercising that right to be proficient in the SAFE storage, maintenance, carry and use of their firearm. Only then our streets be safe from the violence raging in them now.
